    quad-pumped is 4 lanes at 266Mhz for 1066Mhz effective

    If it clocks like the other 0.65 chips....intel will have a new monster again..
    When Mercedes brought their C111 to Talledega years ago and blew away the closed course record did it count? Yes..
    That was a "factory" car and a "one of" that no one could buy and was never sold.
    Records are records and that is a fact so get over it.

    I think that 965XE is just a bit tweaked 955XE with a raised stock multi.

    nice to see the power management finally working - now in line with the fx on power usage!

    Shame however that this is only coming out now. Had this come out at the 65nm launch, with the 975xe at 3.99ghz (which all the 955and965's seem to be able to do on stock volts) coming out now, it would have been even more competitive.
