Another solid tube!

Time to move on from old school mr. brazed mousepot to a solid tube. I didn't machine it myself, but I did provide the dimensions.

Tube is 7 inch, with an add on piece (that I will test to see if it does anything extra).

Is the extension so you can fill the tube past 7" or just to add more mass to the unit?

Thanks guys, cant wait to test it out on Saturday.

Tube is about 60mm in diameter, thats what 2 1/4 inch or so? The extension is just to make the unit a little bigger, I will test temps with and without the top part to see if it does anything. In my past dice sessions I found it was optimal to monitor the dice level closely and keep about 3-4 inches of crushed inside so I wont be filling to the top. Fabricated a hold down and cut and fit the insulation last night (thanks for the cutting board suggestion G H Z), it looks a little more ghetto or home made than the really nice kits out there but hey its my first try!
