Internals are not much differet from my typical lian-li. NF9FX, very short cap tubing on this one optimized for high v-core presler, Froster XE (ssilencer... hurry :P). Some case mod done are the rear hdd bay cut to accomodate compressor, Custom backplate made out of acrylic to cover rear PSU portion. Wiring job is done by customer... you wouldn't believe how much wires are in there in this one. Probably took him good few hours sorting it out. Considering this case's left could have another set of 5.25" instead of the 2 fans on left, this case could be ultimate SS in case setup for those who need LOT of drive spaces.
Froster display is behind the skull in 5.25" bay at bottom behind translucent black plexi... bit hard to see in this pic.

Froster temp display idle around -40c (1.625v lol), FULL 1.625v dual prime 5ghz presler -2 to 1c with ambient around 26c (froster around -35c). Bit stronger condenser fan can knock down temp a little but not needed really. This unit should handle load up to 1.7v on presler but I wouldn't recommend doing that for sake of CPU :P

have you done any vmods to that board. do you get much vcore droop?

No droop mod, etc. it does fluctuate wildly on reading though... and even that is not consistant -_-. 1.625 set in bios could be anywhere from 1.55 to 1.63v on this board with presler. Funny thing is, there is no real consistant "droop" that I am used to seeing when I was playing with northwood...

Bit of reworking on Weee's ss which sold to waffles :P Just quick enclosure on bench ss I had made last year sometime...

All the orders are progressing as it should If I am harder to reach right now, it's due to my main system down... (nothing new... typical dfi SDS on memory voltage regulator... bleh...) and I've been to Las Vegas for wedding over entire weekend starting from friday till last night There are 3 ss still waiting to be vacuumed and 3 that are charging, load testing, etc

Bit of update. Still waiting for controllers for the units that has controllers in them it did pass customs so i am wondering where it is now. Anytime now... or should have been anytime last week... heh.
finished up Vapor's SS repair from PC ICE.
There was micro leak in schraeder without caps on... (not sure why it wasn't on)... also, compressor was DOA. It was making... some interesting noise to say the least (and I heard matua before... so... i noticed anomaly).
Vapor decided complete revamp of system so only thing that got used was...
fan, some switches and PC ICE case (exceptional quality with thick aluminum... I like the case)...
My system looks small in this case but it still is bigger than what I put in lian-li to be honest...
Typical NF9FX, fast turning ac fan, chilly1 evap with new AM2 holes as well, tuned for best temp on 155-160w range. But with rear fan on can handle 200w no problem as long as your ambient temp doesn't go over 35c...
    Some pics here.

Tomorrow I go buy box and few missing screws to screw the case in, and ship it out on friday

    Jin, that's sweet....awesome work dude

Guess I'm gonna be spending all day tomorrow insulating my P5W-DH

About load temps...I have some figures that he told me, but I forget exactly where he measured them from on the evap...but here they are:

Ambient: varied between 29C and 36C (YAY SoCal!)
200W load evap temp: -28C (IDK the exact ambient for this test
150W load evap temp: -38C to -42C (depended on ambient, IIRC)

    Anyway, I can't wait Jin

Sounds like a really nice unit Vapor

You've certainly got some nice ambient temps too The phase is a bit colder over here in the North of England, but I can't remember ambient temps over 30c in the 5 years+ since I moved here.

Oh hey, cute kid Iross Love that 'thumbs up'

Jinu that PC ice rework looks good, and yeah that's a pretty long case. You sure you don't want to squeeze another compressor in there? I'm sure you get another one to fit with room to spare

    Cheers

Typically when i use thermocouple to test loaded evap temp, it is on side of evap about 4-5mm away from surface of evap. I prefer knowing colder temp closest to heatsource for better tuning (lately I've been tuning more based on temp of the load tester to simulate how cool CPU will get and using my feel on suction line- gotta love the groove of suction line-, etc)
when I am using froster, it sits about in middle side of evap. Due to size of the probe, I will have really hard time mounting any closer with the probe supplied For this evap, I know I can fake it and put it next to suction line for much cooler temperature reading but it just makes it harder to diagnose situation in case something goes wrong

Thanks for the comment guys... Yeah it got very hot over last 2 weeks or so. Perfect for load testing for conditions, but not so perfect for me to work on. Been working at night time and load testing during day (I just let it run and go sleep or what not... :P)

Hey Jinu, as long as you've got an evap with a decent thickness at the back, you can drill just a little into that, and place the probe just a little into the evap and use thermal paste on it to seal it up.

I've taken to doing that lately with the froster metal probes, mainly because it's a bit awkward on the side, and with Kayl's heads I can't use anything on the side at all.

I figure the temps will actually be more accurate there, as the column is one complete piece, and the side is actually just a brazed on tube, which will actually be having very little heat transferred into it.

Just a thought, and it let's you have a nicer finish with heatshrink on the sides.

    Cheers,

    Gray

Yes it finally showed up. Was going to work on today with load testing (final one only to have power outage... -_-).
It got so hot in house that we left to mall for "free" A/C lol.
Expect picture of units in few days once everything is ready to ship.

Ok... Got new batch of frosters in as well as 10 repair kits. Power went down today during mid day for 4-5 hours. Needless to say didn't get much done (we ran to mall... for free AC). But my day starts late in summer anyways

    Here it is.

Also someone wanted pic of v2000 unit with Zippy 700w in...

I can get another 10mm by special request for people needing even more space on this...

Just regular ball valve, Doing triple evac right now. One of unit had some moistures from look of it.
PS) NoL, as I mentioned, when you get to last evac of triple evac, especially on high side, it is advisable to change to quick disconnects
