HI, congrats on that good 631.

    Some questions:

    - Have you got any cold bug problems ?

    - Have you tried an p5wd2-e ?

Coz ive got cold bug problems with an 920, didnt try my 631, but one teammate tested another 631 on a p5wd2-e and got cold bug problems... WTH ? I thought on going back to a p5wd2 since seems more cold friendly, but i'd like to be sure... Anyone have some tips ? Thx

a friend of mine havde same probs with p5wd2-e and 920,though fugger has no probs with an ee cpu,so it could actually be the 920 that have a bit off cold bug

    damn! very nice man!

i'm surprised no one has picked up a 661 and stuck it under LN2... someone can probably knock out some of the 670 WR's with one of the 65nm 661 chips

With the tripple stage I put up a 6.2Ghz pi run of 21s

The cold bug on Presler is no where near as bad as AMD, I have a valve to adjust my start temp and it is very quick to respond so the cold bug doesnt give me a problem.

I lay on the colder temps (>-100c) when needed and run at ~ -70c while setting up and restarting. This helps prevent freezing over and if I adjust my second stage, I can drop back to an even warmer temp of -60c. I believe that would be too cold for a cold bugged AMD to start at.

My restart problems start around -76c, -86c on the evap for my 955 EE.

Fugger I have no restart problem with my 955XE .. it can even restart while pot is at < -190C .. I also recieved a 965XE but it is an odd one. Will try it on LN2 soon..

would clockgen (or something similar) allow you to get past the 450mhz fsb mark since that's all you can do in the bios?

My congratulations goes to Poland. Strongly impressive Overclocking for a PENTIUM 631. Here in Germany you could see on LAN-Partys only Case-Modd-Kiddys with expensively Hardware without any Overclocking-Skill but this is very pretty.

I repeat, very nice – hold on and stay cool overclocked.

Well If it's too old a thread to comment on that is just too damn bad. It is a great accomplishment! I really like all the pics you posted in your thread of all those involved in this achievement. That goes to those who did the achievement and to those who got to be there to witness it. Looks like it was a good time for all. Seems all we usually see is a pic of a board that looks like a mess along with a shot of the multi-meter. your pics kinda personalize the event. Thanks and congrats!!
