Hi Felix..thanx for this nice prog...
Just one question: what the difference between "Write to Read Delay" and "Write-Read Turnaround clocks" settings?
I come from A64 where we have only Twtr and "Read-Write Turnaround clocks",
so i really don't understand this "Write-Read Turnaround clocks" setting.
    Thank you.

Gonna put this to use right away! Thanks a bunch M8.

The version 2.2 (beta) is an instant freeze of the system on my dell xps m1710 laptop.

    (micron ddr2 667mhz 5-5-5-15, intel 945pm chipset)

If I change it to 4-4-4-12 its a freeze. (might be a to big change)
Whenever I change one value its a freeze.
Both channels get the same value.

Might be that the ram cant handle any changes but if it might be a user error plz tell me
Anyone else tryed this on his m1710
    CPU: intel i5 3570K

I have P5B Deluxe Wifi, just a quick question about the red circled box, is that a correct value ? Ask this because CPUZ is reporting Rev. C1.

Anyway, thank you very much for your effort developing this tool !

    Thumbs up P965 stepping

    Hi Felix,

    Thanks, its now showing C1.

Actually I was curious since P965 stepping C2 supposed to be release to manucfacturer by this Sept.

But it is clear now, and again just guessing that your update was referring to this page below right ?

For the Intel® 82Q965, 82Q963, 82G965 Graphics and Memory Controller Hub (GMCH)and Intel® 82P965 Memory Controller Hub (MCH)

Again, thank you so much ! Great Work you've done there !

...before the update I was referring to this datasheet too,
    but I made the reading on bit[0] offset E4,whereas it's bit[3]

    Hi Felix,
My motherboard is 915G with ddr2 533 4-4-4-12, i can modify all main parameter except CL --- the most important parameter (now i working at 4-3-2-4), i have tried all version of memset but none of them can change CL. i'm very confident that my ddr2 can work at CL3, pls help me.

    Tks & B.rgds

Do these settings appear right for standard 5-5-5-15? The 42T for tRFC seems a big high or is that usual?

    CAS# Latency (CL) - 5T
    RAS# to CAS# (tRCD) - 5T
    RAS# Precharge (tRP) - 5T
    Cycle Time (tRAS) - 15T
Row Refresh Cycle Time (tRFC) -42T
RAS to RAS Delay (tRRD) - 3T
Read to Write Delay (tRTW) - 8T
Write to Read Delay (tWTR) - 5T

    Weonline-> it's seem that it's practically impossible to changing Cas# with DDR2,
    and I don't know Why...

    Therat-> 42T is a normal value for 5.5.5.15 timings.

I get this same exact error with my setup if i try to set timings tighter then 4449 on my 2x1GB G.skill HZ. My computer runs fine, but for some reason i can't get tighter then 4449

Setting tighter timings in bios still shows 4449 in memset and cpuz

Hi Felix, thank you for what seems an interesting program. However I went to install it, into its own directory and thus folder and I get this message saying
"The driver TVicport can not be found"
Others seem to be able to get it running, but I don't know what is up with this.
My motherboard is the one in my signature.
Signature? are you kidding? with new stuff coming out every day, why bother ?
