    What is this program for? To change the ram timings without having to go in the bios?

    Bah... it doesn't let me lock the multiplier at 21x on my ASRock x58 deluxe.

    I can only get 21x if turbo is enabled.. and that defeats the purpose as it clocks down to 20x as soon as I load up the CPU.

    Yes. A must have for an overclocker!

    What does it have to do with MemSet/CPU Tweaker?
    You must disable power saving and safety features in bios to use 21 multi on high frequency and voltage under full load.

    My BIOS doesn't have the overcurrent protection setting. I also have tried turning off all power saving features in BIOS as well as Windows.

    Not really running "high" voltage... 1.28 under load.

    Well, I guess you have disabled CPU thermal throttling, so try playing around with CPU Ratio, SpedStep and Turbo Mode in various combinations. Other than that I can't be of much help, cause I don't know anything about that board besides what I read.

    I just wanted to report that when I change tRFC from zero to a known working value the system reboots instantly, no BSOD (XP Home Eddition SP3 with latest updates.)
    It would also freez if I change from a working value to zero, but this is a lesser problem as this would happen when changing to a too low value anyway.

    If this is a common problem, I think disabling tRFC from changing when zero will help.

    EDIT: report is for MemSet

    I dont think that it's the program at fault but rather the board

    i'm working with MSI on this......i think they might actually have the ram table locked because even MSI software is unable to change values on the fly in windows from what Raja told me from Anandtech......

    => keba: dinos22 is right, PCI configuration space is locked in the bios on your board, I can't do nothing.

    => Chike: what is your board, and what is the tRFC value in your bios when memset indicate 0?
    I'll grayed out the tRFC combo when it's indicate 0 in a next beta.

    My board is GA-EP43-UD3L. The only tRFC value that will show 0 in memset is when it is set to auto in BIOS, not always, usually when tight timings and a bit of memory OC is applied.

    CPU-Tweaker 1.4 beta1

    -Fix the bug when aero is disabled if CPU-Tweaker is open on AMD CPU under Windows 7;
    -Add some chipsets ID detection;

    Merry Christmas to all!

    I am really sorry I don't know what I was thinking of when I posted this
    It is tRD of course not tRFC.

    Memset work on Clarkdale CPU, but not CPU-tweaker.
    Is it possible you to make a registers dump (with cpuz->last table->registers.txt) on a Clarkdale
    and send it at memset@hotmail.fr

    Thank.

    HI Felix,
    There's a user with memory problems, weird thing is main MemSet window shows "DDR3" with some combination of ram installed.
    I wonder if this is related to his problems or is it just a glitch in MemSet.
    Could you take a look at the images in http://forums.tweaktown.com/f69/ques...tml#post340763
    He says the same with vers. 4.1.

    For P45/DDR3 detection, I need to get some info.
