    7900GT bios.

    3D = 500/1200 1.4v delta 50mhz (stock = 20mhz delta 1.2v)
    Throttle = 450/1200 1.4v delta 50mhz (stock = non existing)
    2D = 275/1200 1.3v delta 0mhz (stock = 0mhz delta 1.2v)

    This can't be done with just Nibitor.

    Have fun, hope it works

    yes, should work without a problem. But i'm really not shure if the vmod works at all. It will only work if it is possible on the hardware side.

    What I did is just entirely copy past the 7900GTX voltage table in the 7900GT bios. Worst case scenario is that it still only gives 1.2v in 3D. The chance that this bios is succesful is like 25%, but it is worth a shot anyway.

    So those 'oc' GTs with 550 core don't have much potential, do they? Anybody got them to ~650?

    remember this is at stock volts with only a 30 Mhz oc on the gpu.
    hopefully the gpu will scale well with voltage ibcrease. vr should be here monday.
    oh nice, dunno why I thought it was single card

    Looks like memory is insane on these. Now, if the chips scale with voltage, these cards are a definite choice over X1900 for benchers IMO

    Do 7900 GTs come with 1.1 ns mem?

    I am planning on stepping up through EVGA for a standard 7900 GTX; it seems both of their GTX models possess 1.2 ns mem. I would prefer to have the 1.1 ns, but I will be getting the 7900 GTX through EVGA for a 7800 gt and $180. This is probably the right way to go in terms of price/performance, would most of you agree?

    All the 7900GT's should come with 1.4ns mems as for the 7900GTX ones they should have 1.1ns.

    M@tt your 7900GT has which ones ?

    The core over clock was a little disappointing, but the memory just kept on going up to settle at 1930 Mhz without any errors in 3DMark05 / 06

    These results are not really really trying, but I was trying quite hard. (I can run my chip quicker than that, that is the quiet overclock)

    I don't know what Image Quality settings you had, but score in SM2=2128/SM3=2073 is very, very low for 511/1930. Are you sure those clocks were actually applied? It would be highly improbable that those were really used for your 3D runs. I would guess, they were re-set back to default... I will stand corrected If I'm wrong but 1930MHz for 1.4ns DDR3 did not yet happen...

    As far as know, they did apply, I went up slowly until it would know longer run @ 975 ish, the scores increased as I went up and then it failed, if it did not apply I could have carried on above 1000, for which I was aiming.

    Every indication said it applied.

    If they is anything that needs to be run, I will run it

    Just submit a score with those clocks to the ORB, that'll tell everyone then and there what your clocks were.

    Coolbits autodetect at 100mhz PCI-E: 678/846
    Coolbits autodetect at 104mhz PCI-E: 684/848

    Not much difference here, but lots of testing to do.

    I don't think it will, because it does not pick up the core / mem speed

    But I will now try and post a better score

    Damn Thats BANG FOR BUCK in it's meaning. If 7900GT runs cooler than 7800GTX (90nm/110nm) would Zalman Vf700cu provide better cooler than the stock cooler?

    Nice, looks like you had to lower your clocks though for your system to be stable during your rise up the 3dMark chain.

    Bah, I can't solder, so I am hoping for a software-based vmod . Flash, you know you want to... easier even if you do have good soldering skills ! Enjoy the wedding!
