GeForce 7900, where are the big numbers?

G71 is out but where are the big overclocked numbers? Shamino, Kinc... ?

I don't have the cards and not even press samples available here in Finland, sucks

He probably wants to know like very everyone else. No negative vibe detected. Sounds like he wants one ... or two.

Even though its just a clock bump at least Nvidia can say they had another solid launch in the retail market. NewEgg has got cards from a lot of compaines in stock. Only bad news is x1900 cards seem to be holding their value. 7900 no cause for panic or over reaction from ATI or its retail partners.

    And from you too?

I'll definitely get my hands dirty with these sooner or later, just though if some people have already pushed them to the limits since performance at stock speeds doesn't really give anything new.

Agree with Sampsa as it is just a speed bump we need to see the big speed bumps from the usual suspects ......

I'm sure we will be seeing someone hit 1000Mhz with the core on these cards.
I have only tested one of my cards sofar and it did 900Mhz at low voltage.

Im not worried. The 1900's are limping by right now on a very un optimized driver. the 7900's are very much like the 7800's and using a much more mature driver. Plus, anyone read @ the [H] about shimmering problems?

Also the 1900's keepup nicely in high res fear, which is all i care about.

im real disapointed of Nvidia 7900 dont have AA+HDR and HQ-AF like X1900 , and i dont understand why 7900GTX coust 2x the price of 7900GT if the only diferences i see its memmorys 1.1ns , cloks and 512mb ram

the 7600GT and 7900GT are OK , but comparing X1900XTX and 7900GTX i think the X1900XTX its better cause its cheaper and have all new tecnologies

    cause a 7900gt is basically a 7800gtx with a little faster mem. - 450 core/700 mem

7900gtx = 650 core/ 800 mem.Its almost 50% FASTER on the core and 13% faster ram than a 7900GT. Plus the GT comes with 1.4ns ram, and the gtx 1.1ns. large cost difference as well.

yep but 7900GTX its twice the price of 7900GT , and only the 1.1ns memory and 512ram and high cloks dont justify that price , cause for same price of a 7900GTX you can buy 2x 7900Gt SLI LOLOLOLOLOL

7900GTX costs 499 USD. Your local price is just somebody profiteering on the new product.

Idk, I think I would rather go with a x1900xt vs. 7900gtx However the 7600gt for $180 looks really nice

    thats normal
geizhals is slow lately it usualy takes a day or 2 before new grapihcs cards are listed at geizhals.
they already added a new 7900:
    http://www.geizhals.at/deutschland/a191764.html

give it a day or 2 and slowly other shops will add their cards.
i know a german shop that has 7900 in stock but not even listed at their site (i was there when they got delivered)

that's such a stupid question I was almost not going to answer it. You have an Opteron. Regardless if its Opteron 146, 144, etc, it costs AMD the exact same amount to manufacture it... yet they cost different.

Price is higher so you can be guaranteed faster, and company can make bigger profits... duh.

and what im more disapointed its that 7900 dont have the new tecnologies like AA+HDR and HQ-AF

I'm looking forward to some good things from both OPP and k|ngp|n. I'm sure all the heavy hitters will come out soon. I'm dying to see some benches from the people that know how to do it. I'm sick of all this stock review stuff.
