Kingston HyperX DDR3 2000 & Rampage II Extreme won't go in Triple Channel

Hi, I bought a 3x2gb set of HyperX DDR3 2000 (KHX16000D3ULT1K3/6GX). Today I have mounted them, and in Triple Channel, system won't start (blue screen). With Double Channel there's no problem at all. Help me, I don't know what to do I have 1406 BIOS in RE II.

Have you tried "load setup defaults" in BIOS ? Are all 3 sticks in blue slots ?

Try booting with only one stick in the first blue slot at a time (You should do it with all 3 sticks, one after another) It seems that one of the sticks is dead (There are Elpida Hyper chips used in them and those chips die very easily )

Only one stick boot alone. But other two sticks, boot with this one in Dual Channel. Those are NEW memory, I don't believe that one stick is dead.

I had the same problem with a Asus Gene X58 and those chips, still trying to find the solution, kit works great on other systems,
Ran for a while with the set then bluescreened and the 3rd slot was gone,

got it back once or twice by lowering the speed to 1066, also i hoped sticvks around/same same issue. I got some non-hyp[er sticks i will try tomorrow to see if it's the same thing

Then try borrowing other RAM and see if it works in 3-channel mode. If it does work, there is something wrong with your HyperX, if not - there may be a problem with the motherboard

EDIT: If you don't believe that your RAM may be dead - read HERE & HERE

My RMAd Kingston HyperX arrives later today (3x2GB DDR3-2000 CL8). Tonight I'll pop them in to the R2E and report. The R2E is running Bios 1502.

Maybe try numbering each stick like 1,2 & 3 and try them in order then change it around tell it works or wont. I remember eva2000 telling me to try this method and it work finally for me on my Asus P6T Del V1 board. I just bought the Rampage Gene a couple of days ago and I plan on trying a set on it. I bought 2 x sets of the Kingston Hyper X 2000MHz cas(8) when they first came out. So I have not had any problems with them yet like other have been...

The Kingstons came back. They need QPI/Vtt of 1.475 to run memtest error free with 8-8-8-21-1N Timings at DDR3-2000 frequency at 1.65vDimm in my R2E with Bios v 1502.

Everest shows QPI/Vtt of 1.41v when Bios is set at 1.475v.

Is your CPU C0 or D0 ? It seems to me that 1.475V QPI is a lil too much, even for 2GHz RAM

The G. Skill Black Pis had to run at 1.58 QPI/Vtt to reach DDR3-2000.

    And it's a D0.

If they blow/fail you just RMA.

I meant that setting QPI so high may blow/fry the CPU, not RAM

Ohh, and it's not that easy to RMA something in my country In many cases it is IMPOSSIBLE (They usually say: You have broken/blown/fried it by yourself 'cause u don't know how to use it properly...)
