    My Setup

This was a temporary setup I had in my TV room about a week and a half ago while my parents were in Alaska.

Later I'll upload pics of my new workspace once I've completed it. MUCH bigger with more screens.

ZeroCool1616, near the iMac, is that an Apple Cinema Display 24? I see there is also a PlayStation 3, I wonder if I can connect it to my iMac or to an Apple Cinema Display, through an adaptor. Thanks!

After the internal ODD went out in my Indigo iMac I had to get creative in order to install Puma. The system didn't want to boot from an external ODD so I had to connect one to the IDE cable where the internal HDD normally goes. I then connected the HDD via a USB.

You like the Magic Mouse? I personally think is is very unergonomic. You have an SSD in that Air yet? I just threw one in my iMac today and it shines now.

the magic mouse can be fun to use, i dont use it quite often, i do agree that it isnt very ergonomic..

And no, this is the old 80gb spinning disk version.. plus the hard drives are 1.8" Pata drives... nearly impossible for SSD, no performance gain either.. cant wait for the 2010 model so i can get a nice SSD and 4gb of ram going! which reminds me... this mac air is for sale.

You have the non-Nvidia version? I think the Nvidia ones came w/ SATA IIRC.

yup, your right. the one i have is the very first to come out. 1.6Ghz, 2gb ddr2, 80gb 1.8" Pata... still a beautiful 13" screen and 6 hours of battery life with normal use.. and it weighs less than a glass of water!

(seriously though, its for sale, BestBuy warranty till 2012, will be putting up a For Sale soon)

Hey guys I need some help and was wondering if I could get some assistance? I am looking to get a macbook pro 13" from my local microcenter. They have it on sell for $1067. But I was online looking up promo codes and I saw that back in Feb10, they had it where it was $800 with promo code. My question is do any of you have a microcenter promo code for the macbook pro?

    Please let me know, thanks.

I think the sale you are thinking of was a white macbook for $800 not a 13" MBP.

You maybe right, but I thought it was for the macbook pro. Also with microcenter saleing the macbook pro 13" I wonder if I could use my college ID so that I can get the $100 discount for being a college student or is that only when purchasing the laptop through Apple? Also if you do come across any promo codes for microcenter on macbook pros in the next few days let me know.

    Thanks.

Yes it is from Ikea. I love the look of it. But the table legs are horrible unstable. I originally had the bigger wooden ones but thought they were ugly so I went w/ these ones instead.

Next time I go to Ikea I'll likely grab a set of the wooden ones again.
