    NF7-S Microphone Interference Workaround

We have devised a work around solution for users of NF7 boards that have a
    low/interference microphone signal problem.

If you are experiencing this problem, and wish to have the workaround
implemented, please RMA the board with us directly.

Granted that does make it difficult if it is your only system. At least they are willing to repair it for yea. Some wouldnt even go to that....

Give them a call and talk to them about it. You might be able to work something out with them. Maybe get a replacement board cross shipped to you. So you dont get yours back, but y ou get one thats been fixed. Dunno, worth giving it a shot though....

There shouldn't be this problem in the first place......... someone dropped the ball here.
    Sht Happens......

Like he said at least they are willing to square it up for ya, some would just ignore you, or deny anythings wrong.........
So I really don't see how your respect for them "Dropped".

I would order another board ( from them- verified to work), and send the bum one back when you get it and see if it's ok.. they will most likely charge your CC, but as soon as they get the old board back you should get a credit on your card.. kinda like a core charge.

See if you can do that( thats if you have a CC and have room on it to spare). I would at least ask.

    Good Luck

Not that this is the solution you are looking for, nor is it the most economical, but have you looked into a usb mic? I have some labtec usb mic that works great, it sounds good on teamspeak and on wilco. Not sure what you are looking to do but for these type applications its great. It may be a little pricey, if my memory serves correctly it was ~25 bucks. Not a fix but maybe a $olution :\

Isn't that NOT the final revision of the board anyway??

Seems like the nf7-s chipset boards are still "firming up" - better versions coming?
