2100 T'Bred B and Epox 8k5a2??
First post.
I've read in other forums that this particular Epox motherboard is a bit finicky with T'Bred B chips. I'm just wondering if anyone out there is running a 2100 B chip on the 8k5a2 and how it's overclocking. I'm considering buying a '0250' chip and curious what type of performance to expect.
Some specs: 1 stick 512 MB Kingston Value PC 2700 RAM
Antec CPU fan, 3 case fans, Chieftec aluminum case.

I am...just got my 2100+ from newegg yesterday. Runs great on my 8K5A2+ with both the 8-15 and 11-15 BIOS. I have an AIUHB 0302 running at 2350Mhz cooled by an AX-7 with a Panaflo L1A. It should go further when I get my watercooling stuff this week.

Atm I am running at 2460MHz (12x205) my 2100+ B on my 8k5a2, the only problem that I have is that I can't give more than 1.95vcore. Everything higher results in random reboots or no boot at all. The problem is in the mobo, since my power is an Antec 550c True Power.

Same for me. No problems running a 2100+ @ 2370Mhz, 1.95V on the 8k5a2+.
Bios is still the first 0815 one. Haven't tried the 1115

hmm, I think that my post at amdforums.com might help solve the vcore setting problem

Thanks for the info everyone.
Those of you running the 8k5a2+: I posted this same messge on another forum and was told that you can't adjust the multipliers on the 8k5a2 with this CPU. They're set at 13.5X.
Are you able to adjust the multipliers with the 2+ or have you modded the bridges on the processor?
