    Angry XP2000 won't clock past 1750 on NF7(non S)

Ahtlon XP 2000, AGOIA, Palamino. What the hell.... I can run it at 200x8.5 for 1700mhz. I have seen it go to 1750 but be unstable. I have tried nearly EVERY voltage (CPU, AGP, NB, Vcore). EVERY multiplier. All the ram timings (kept them slow to OC) My temps are 30-35C and never higher, even in the bios. What am I missing out on? I disabled APIC (or whatever that stuff is that most of you have to disable) and XP won't boot. I've fiddled with everything that I can imagine changing. I can't get it over 1700 and stable. I know this CPU can put out more....... Why won't it though?

Check the 5V line....if it is idle under 4.8V it could be the problem.

I think I have the same problem... my 2000+ AGOIA is stable @ 1750mhz.... normally AGOIA Palominos runs @ 1.85ghz ... stable....

    5V line gives 4,89 - 4,81

How can I test that this line is too weak... I have an enermax 431W
    AMD Athlon 1700+ JIUHB

My experience with Enermax PSU's is that they are weak on the +5v lines. My AGOIA41F 1600+ would not go higher than 1743 mhz with an Enermax 350W, but went all the way to 1900 with my Chieftec 340W. You can run a stress test, and if the line drops down alot in voltage (i.e in MBM you can see the history of the voltage), then its a bit weak.
