Maybe you should try some other memory, or increase your memory voltage and lower your timings ?

I have used FSBs from 166-190 with CL 2,5 3-3-7 @ 2,77V but the CPU doesnt go stable over 1.9ghz

    now i running my 2000+ palomino @ 10.5x166 with CL2 2-2-5 ... rock - stable

My Tbred B is a bad one and I can change it by the shop, which sold me the CPU

Can you give me some good Steppings and series for 1700+, 1800+ and 2400+ ??

Jiuhb's are running pretty good, but you can only find them in Slovenia or South America.

your jiucb seems to be the exception rather than the rule.

chr!s, the best 1700+ and 2100+ steppings seem to be jiuhb with week 0252 best for 1700+ and week 0248 being best for 2100+. Avoid jiucb steppings and avoid week 0301 even for jiuhb.

    Sorry, but I haven't seen much about 1800+ t-bred B's.

Me and my bro have 6 JIUCB week 51's and all of them will do 2.2ghz at ~1.9v on air. We have 1 JIUCB week 50 that does 2.2ghz at 2v on air.

Interesting, perhaps the week matters more than the stepping. I would still look for an early 0250 or earlier jiuhb if possible, though.

What sort of cooling are you and your bro using twiggy?

Im using this but mine is copper but with the same fan. My bro is using a slk 800 and a 92mm tornado at 2800 rpm's.

Most of them topped out ~2.4ghz but a couple did 2.5-2.6ghz, stable too. 24/7 folders.

I agree tho if you can find a JIUHB then grab that for sure.

hmm.... I can't believe that... my processor doesn't reach these high frequencies

perhaps I make something wrong, but I used voltages between 1.6V - 1.9V and the temperatur was with 50°C 'cool' for my air-cooling

normally the 8rda+ is a good board for overclockers and my RAM is rock stable @ 180mhz and CL2

It seems to be a very bad CPU I've bought

Now, I use a 2000+ palomino with AGOIA Y stepping... can you give some advices to OC this CPU... which voltages are "healthy" for this CPU... ??

@twiggy... can you say me the settings of your JIUCB @ 2.2ghz (multiplier and FSB)

how can I apply these high multipliers...??

I can increase the multi only to 12,5... all higher multis aren't accepted by the system... all lower multis are accepted...

I have closed all L1 bridges on the palomino....

Probably I have the chance to get a 1700+ JIUGB... is it much better?... I don't know the week... is it more important than the stepping?
