Putting stuff in place, a few more reboots may be needed.

Insert Hyperlink does not give the option to enter the text you want displayed

Just curious, are you on a whole new server now? MySql or MSSQL?

We are on an alternate server,

3.73EE ES on Asus P5WD2-E Premium 4GB PQI

Same hard drives, hoping this will be more stable.

I am moving OS to Centos, variations in Mysql and having a 4.2GB .sql dump makes it very time consuming transfer. I have to do small chunks at a time.

Once I get Centos working correctly I will copy this database in place.

    i have another strange problem....
emails from the board are now coming from:

    Code:
    root@localhost.localdomain
this is being blocked at the ISP-level so I am not getting any email notifications. I had to switch my email address to a hotmail address temporarily and even then all messages are being dumped into the junk box. can we get the emails to come from a less evil-sounding address?

I've got it! I think the weight of the attachments in my posts are pulling them to the bottom of the thread!

    EDIT: OK Scratch that theory....lol

My chipset was reaching those temps too. Just put a 80mm fan directly on top of my vidoecard so it stands near pwmic andcb lows on it and temps are in the 40s loaded

This was a "problem" even before we had all these server issues, but I really don't mind it since it makes me feel popular I'm just curious what caused it....no need to fix it.....it makes me feel.........like saaya LOL.......

Not really urgent, but I just started a thread, and some guy posted like 10 posts to check the time, in my thread, and they all showed up before my post, and mine was the thread starter!

maybe it's a timing issue. it's not important, but it's kinda interesting

The server is actaully in the bermuda triangle, and not Vegas. This might explain things better.
