I just read the production description for the Accelero X2 on Arctic Cooling's page and I noticed this paragraph regarding why they didn't design this cooler with DHES (Direct Heat Exhaust System) in mind. Apparently they feel everyone should be using a BTX setup which rectifies this. Here is the exact quote from their page.
Fully Crossfire and BTX compatible
The Accelero 2 is Crossfire compatible with all mainboards and offers in such a configuration exactly the same performance. In contrast to our ATI Silencers, the Accelero is 100% BTX compatible, thus a DHES is not possible/necessary anymore. The hot air is removed by the BTX airflow.
Too bad for those who don't use a BTX setup such as myself. It means the hot air of 70c+ will be dumped right over the chipset to linger all through your case.
