well i have a simerlar problem buddy.
mine will bench with prime for hours at 225 72222 3.05v vdd is 1.85 .but try to run 3d2001 and lockup or hang.i can run half way though 3d2001 at 223fsb and will run complete at 200fsb.
i did some quick testing this morning before work and it seams to need more vdd volts.
reason i think that is i was running at 1.82 vdd and it wouldnt pass 3d at 223 at all locking up at startup game 1.but i bumped it slightly to 1.85 and it made it over half way to game 3.so that is the key i think.i tryed more voltage to the ram as high as 3.15 and no diferance.so i think the chipset is the key.
i pushed 1.85v and with air cooling i am worried i am at the max.but i will try to put into my phase change test unit soon to see it it helps.i have access there to -27c coolant to the chipset if i need it.:p
