    A-DATA XPG 2200+ CL8 for P55

With the new P55-platform launched it enables some crazy memory speeds. A-DATA has made use of this and have launched their newest kit at an astonishing 1100Mhz at CAS 8.

This new kit features a PCB with a two ounce copper layer which supposedly increases overclocking capabilities.

    From the press release ...

    Features

All DRAM IC are verified by overclocking criteria.
High-quality 2oz copper 8 layers PCB (Printed Circuit Board)
Optimized for 64-bit OS (operating system)*
    Backward compatible with DDR3-1866, 1600, 1333 and 1066
    Lifetime limited warranty

    Specifications are DDR3-2200 8-8-8-24 at 1.55-1.65V.

    Test setup

    Intel Core i7 870
    Gigabyte GA-P55-UD6
    2x2GB A-DATA XPG 2200+ CL8
    Gigabyte 4870X2
    Silverstone Zeus 1200W

B2B was set to 1 for all tests.

    Picture of the rams:

    And some results.

    1100Mhz 7-8-7-20 at 1.8v

    1200Mhz 8-8-8-24 at 1.8v

    1250Mhz 9-9-9-27 1.8v

Finally some real benchmark, 32M at 5100Mhz cpu (still 1.8V and B2B=1):

Thanks to A-DATA for providing the kit for the test Oh, and this is retail sample (not handpicked).
