    x1600xt crossfire

    I am running a sandy 3700+ at stock and the x1600xt cards also.
    Those are the only changes in my sig.
    Abit KN9-SLI
    X2 3800+
    1gb corsair pc5400
    2 evga 7900gt
    200gb maxtor sata
    ocz 520w

    that 2k3 is dissapointing though, same score as a single x850xt...

    9000 to 11500
    crossfire is 36% faster than 1 card

    2k5:
    5200 to 8400
    crossfire is 62% faster than 1 card

    could the cpu be limiting the cards that much already?

    Could you provide pics of the two cards in crossfire ? Which brands ?

    Been Waiting for this...

    I hope ATI release a software voltage adjustment tool for these...ppl are making huge investments on these x1600 rigs not to have a promised feature unavailable to them.

    Saaya: In 03 he's very cpu limited, hence the score imo...He'll top out at 650/800 on the two cards without more voltage to the core, which should do 700/800 quite easily as its cooler than the x1800 core...

    Cards are sapphire, pics coming up shortly.
    They are using copper heatsinks with the sapphire logo on top.
    The pro cards are using aluminum heatsinks

    thats not even coming close to what 6600 GT's do in SLI and those have been around forever, and can be had for as little as 120...

    for some reason, I expected way more from the X1600XT.
    theres no way it could be that bad.
    thats sub par, barely enough to take out regular 6600's in SLI.

    althes does not tweak nothing, look at his screen, hes got themes and backrounds and junk going on...

    Overlock the system and cards, and 10k will fall no problem...

    that 3d03 run seems messed up... hopefully he will rerun it

    I reran 03 still the same thing.
    I may do a reinstall of everything and see if the cpu is the bottleneck.

    I think his drivers are ed up again. they were for his x1600pro's too and he scored really low until he fixed them



    you're getting beat by x1600pro's o.O Deff reinstall
