Error installing 5.13Cats

Ive used Driver Cleaner and done averything as normal.

means you have to uninstall the current driver reboot and them install 5-13

5.12s are best for dual core procs, 5.11s are best for single core...5.13 just adds some avivo features that have now been *cough*customized*cough* and you can get them without the driver.

I have re-booted, many times.

5.12 won't install now, same thing, arrrg.

I just unistalled what crap was left in add/remove, re-booted, ran driver cleaner, there was nothing ATI left at all, re-booted, tryed to install, same error.

Most likely the dualcore-support has got another boost, that will help atleast with people with slower cards. Too bad that the CCC + .NET 2.0 only bug is still in there... you need .NET 1.1 installed on the side with this set.

Ive never had this problem before i tryed 5.13, now i can't install 5.12 either. Ive never had to do anything with msconfig.

I see Windows Installer under services, it says Manual?

i also had problems with 5.13 something about administrator privileges, had to go back to 5.10

I can't install 5.12Cats either.

Got a ing 400quid card, and can't install drivers. Helppppppppppp.

Make sure it is enabled and try to install again.

Also get .NET 1.1 and 2.0 for CCC.

Set it back to manual, 1.1net is installed, always has been.

Not sure if this would work but maybe go to hardware manager and update driver, select the driver yourself, browse to wherever you keep it, and....you know the rest.

Ive managed to install them, somehow, i dunno why it worked, but C&C Generals froze, which it ain't done for ages.
