PQI 2gb set 3200DBI stability bench report

hey all, after try some excellent ram from Team Group, I got email from friend work for PQI
ask if I am happy to try their 2gb set. The official spec. is DDR400, 2-3-2-5 dual channel ; and it also can be DDR500, 3-3-2-x
, honestly, I have never heard about the timings like 3-3-2 before.

Let's see the picture of the ram

Well, then we 'd better do from DDR400 then,

yup, pretty bored with that, 1m 37 secs.

    410pi 8m

I now recall this, I am like where the patient came from when I ran this DDR420 PI 32m?lol

well, not done yet, I was like in love with testing all night long for watching how this pime95 go,
well, here is the DDR500 prime sp2004 large in-place FFT, completely heat-loarded
    for 3 hours
    :

    Took from digicam:

    So PQI really did the great job here though. I think I can keep pushing it up ;
so I still get some stabilities benches as well as following pi 8m and 16m @ 520 , 530 with
    kind of tight timings

Now, if you notice that I did not use fx57(better memory controller) to do it right? why?
I figured it out when I use fx57 , I rarely can boot up into bios setting.
However, with E6 venice core 3500+, I still get these results I really feel this 2gb set is good
c/p set you might wanna think about it especially the retail price is 184USD for sure.

    Thank you for reading.

Chasing that perfect FX-57, you totally forgot that you need a decent video card to go with it, eh Whatever can run 3DM01/03/05 is good for that task, I guess Thanks, Kevin!

The lowest price I can find on this set is at the Egg for $200. Monarch has it for a little more, but if you're in California, the sales tax will give Monarch the lower overall price.

Hopefully the set tested is random and your friend doesn't work in the marketing department. Infineon performance seems to be all over the place so YMMV for sure.

However, if WE buy it and rip the spreaders off, then its just "enthusiast passion right?

BUt PQI is known to stamp their own logo on the IC so that still might not tell you what type of memory is being used.

Not if they are something totally unknown and new

well at least we'll know what they are not.

at very least we'll narrow the options. both samsung and infineon are somewhat unique and can't be confused with anything else.

If I had to guess, I'd say Infineon CE-5...

Any 3D benches yet, Kevin? Is this kit 3D-able @ 260MHz or above? Thanks!
