    Advice on 3dmark Scores

Hey guys, I searched around ORB and my scores seem low, what do you guys think?

    Day to Day setup:
    AMD Opteron 148 @ 3005 mhz
    2x OCZ Gold Rev 2 512mb PC4000 543 mhz (2.4-4-4-10)
    XFX 7800 GTX 256MB 490/1.31
    OP: x64 Windows

    Scores:
    3dmark 2001se:
    http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=8817365
    2003:
    http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k3=4464779
    2005:
    http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm05=1558001

    Here are some other scores:
    SiSandraSoft:

    CPU Arthmetic
    Dhyrstone: 14737 MIPS
    Whestone: 6496 Mflops

    Multimedia:
    Integer: 22461 its
    Float Point: 34669 it/s

    Memory Bandwith:
    Ram Int: 7757 MB/s
    Ram Flat: 7690 Mb/s

    Super PI 1M: 27s

My 05 score is ok, since that is all videocard: But the 03 and especially the 01score seem low. Similiar setups are scoring 35k+ in 2001.

Drivers are the newest nvidia drivers.

    Any advice?

    Thanks

I strongly doubt other configs like your are in the 35k's, thats where I am with a x850XT, which performs very good in 01SE... (ATI magic), but yes your score seems a bit low, used high quality?? - Thats a 1500 loss.. As well, there could be lots of marks in your mem, the timmings needs to be tighten, alot..

Yeah, I have the settings on high performance instead of high quality.

As far as memory timings, I can either running the memory at tight timmings. 2.5-3-3-5, at 250 MHZ, or at 2.5-4-4-8 and run it at 275 mhz. The memory can't do 2.5-3-3-5 at 275 mhz. It scores better at at 275 and loose memory timings.

Oddly, also overclocking the GTX adds almost nothing to my 2001 score. ?

    Thanks

    It adds 1500-2000
And nearly only affects your drago low + nature fps.

Realtime is also important for 01SE..
Try running 1 test at the time in this order: DL, LL, CH, DH, LH, N, CL - CL rerun 'till best result..

And use A64-tweaker, if you havnt played alot with bios, theres more than 1000 to gain by A64 tweaker, though... Best thing is Win2k -> MPS Uni tweak.

Well you are also running 64-bit windows so that will lower your scores.

Not too much does it? I read a benchmark review for x64, and 3dmark scores were usually +/- 1000 of those in Windows XP.

I tried a bunch of different tweaks over the last few weeks. Overclocked to 3100, memory at 550 mhz, GTX at 515/1.32, and it still only made it to 33,000k. I'd expect close to 38k with this setup.

Is this on par, and am I expecting too much possibly?
