Man, im so frustrated...just got this mem and testing it right now
It doesn't even boot into windows at 3-4-4-8 1t at 250mhz
Already send back some corsair 3500LL cause it wouldnt even reach 250mhz at 1t.
Tried different biosses, timings etc wouldnt help.
Tried the corsair before i send it back on a different pc. Also an Asus A8N-E but a amd64 3000+ instead of my 3200+. It could reach 250 and higher on that one but not a lot higher.
Is my memory controller maybe so bad on my amd64 3200+???

sounds more like your MB holding you back at this point. Lower your multi to take that out of the question when testing.

overclocking ok, but i cant even run it ok at the rated speed
need to lower speeds to 3-4-4-8 2t and the rest at the slowest possible to have it stable in windows...

    EDIT:

    Memory timings
    Memclock index value (MHz): DDR400
    CAS latency (Tcl): 3
Min RAS# active time (Tras): 8T
    RAS# to CAS# delay (Trcd): 4T
    Row precharge Time (Trp): 4T
    Row cycle time (Trc): 16T
Row refresh cycle time (Trfc): 24T
    Read-to-Write time (Trwt): 5T
    Write Recovery time (Twr): 3T
    1T/2T Memory timing: 2T

ddr voltage 2.6-2.75v (tried different voltages)
    htt mhz = 250 (ddr 500 speed)
    cpu multi x9 = 2250mhz (have this amd3000+ tested stable at 2500mhz)
getting errors within 30 secs with prime95 :S
    is this a DOA?

will OCZ EL DDR PC-4000 Gold GX XTC 2GB Dual Channel work better with an asus a8n-e + amd64 3200/3000+

Today I received my HZ and i am f*cking happy !! I first booted at 250x10, 3-4-4-8-7-14-2-2-2-3 , tref 3120, 8ns / 5.5ns , auto in all the rest. I began upping HTT with clockgen, and i managed to pass SPi 1M at 280x10 with no errors, gave an error at 285. I know, SPi 1M doesn't prove stability. I was using BIOS 704-2BTA so i flashed 510-1Fix and tried again. Right now, 3D super stable @ 265MHz with 2.57v (2.6v in BIOS). I love playing FEAR with absolutely no HD read/write

I'm using 1:1 , so no divider here.

In BIOS terms, i had 704-2BTA when i started using the HZ, then i flashed to 510-1 Fix.

I have been testing for only 3 hours now, i can't get any conclusions yet.

BTW i'm using orange slots. Also Tref 3684 seems more stable than 1816.

Done with settings in sig So tight timings and low bandwidth seem better than high bandwidth and looser timings on the A64s. Or am I still missing something

No your not missing anything, its not a very scientific comparison but yes at the same memory speed lower latency is better.
