Question... are you running D2OL Daddy shmaa?

No... never had any problems with D2OL hogging resources (CPU or memory) up until I had over 3000 candidates in 1 resultQueue file (which under normal circumstances, isn't even possible.. )

little bit of this and little bit of that...

no.. for real.. I had them buffering in the first place, and just by luck a couple weeks ago (when the servers were working right most of the time), right when they were almost out of work.. the upload server was down but the work server was still up.. so I put them back online and downloaded another 2000 cands and let them continue on their way.

    Re-thinking that idea now, however.

Let's say it was corrupt as of yesterday... what are you doing to make sure you're not backing up a corrupt copy?? Cuz you won't be able to catch corruption until you attempt to upload them.

Well... that's just the calculated risk you take when you release a mongoose.

Everyone is at risk at the moment... whether they want to be or not.

Yea, it looks like the more cands the more mb's D2OL uses (Duh). Heres a pic of mine. When it gets to 1500 (next monday?) I'll make a backup and start a new one. I'll check the sempy rig soon.
