    Thermalright V1-Ultra on 7800GTX

So, I bought this thing because I thought it would be a good way to be able to keep my ramsinks on and i could take the cards off peltiers and water and temporarily use them in my gaming machine.

Trying to install it was a nightmare, and finally I just gave up. Has anyone else tried to use this cooler on 7800gtx? I think it was a bad move all around, I just wanted to keep the ramsinks on there and be on air temporarily as I didn't feel like rebuilding my water loops yet.

I installed a regular V-1 on a 6800 GT and I agree that it is way too much work. Took me 5 tries to get it right.

lol, two hours and I couldn't get more than one screw to go in, the holes didn't line up, it was just painful

I thought air was supposed to be easy, to save me some trouble from putting back the peltiers.

Id get a Zalman VF700 over the V1, quiet / easy to install.
