    Opteron 154 CAB2E 0540 FPMW

After burning my 146 CABYE 0540 FPAW, i have received my new Opteron 154. Probably will have a serious cold bug, but it goes really fine with air.

We have started to test with TCCD, and the weekend we will try some pairs of BH5 old.

    Motherboard, of course, DFI SLI-DR.

For the moment my Patriot Extreme have reached nearly the 3.2, and we are benching around 3.1-3.5 with no problem. This chip don´t need a lot of Vcore to work.

    In SP1M:

    In SP8M:

    In SP32M:

It seems to have potential, with water and BH5, results wil be good sure. Not very good expectations for the DICE cause of stepping, but we´ll try chilly it.

Soon more caps and benchs, with DICE and BH5. Next phase 3D benching, SLI + DICE + Opty 154.

    Saludos.

I had a problem with my DFI BIOS, too many Volts! Mobo and chip got burned while using 1.75V. Probably a fail of the board.

But don´t worry for the chip, the UKT bought a pair of these! We are waiting to test it with DICE asap. We expect at least 3.5.

Wasn't that a crazy-arse issue with the DFI SLI boards? Like they hit 4V flux for 1 sec, and it kills the chip right?

The problem was that Isi used more than 123% ( ) option to feed vcore to his 154, and the mosfet of the SLi-DR burned out (it smells very bad... ) and the 146 dead too with this issue...
Now we have received a container to put this 154 under some dry ice... we will have to deal with the cold bug tho...
