    We are back in business

After a few atemps, I finally get a FX-57 that supports real cooling - I take it to Ricky's rebuild cascade and find that the limit is -63ÂșC in CPU and around -92ÂșC in the evaporator..

Not perfect, but acepptable and can lead to interesting results ..

Here is the setup used for a quick test

And we still have a few others mobos to test

In the first test, we just try learn the limit of acceptable cooling for the CPU ..with the 7800GTX 512MB with Stock Cooling at 630-1860 we manage to get this :

No special tweaks and mem at low speed (multi 16 mem 242mhz), but if we use one of our old tweaks we can run it a much higger HTT..

We should do another bench session in the next days, this time with serious cooling for the graphics cards ..after all we need to bring into use Ricky's SLI cascade ..

Here is a photo of Ricky riding CPU Casacde ver 2.0

    More results soon..

Really nice to see you going singel carded with a FX

Looks like FX57 and a singel GTX512 can take 50k. I guess you ran it with the multi acpi tweak? (car high seems a little low though but that is maybe becuase of low htt/mem)

    Nice cpu!

Pedro, hmm... A good tube and DICE would be better? :\
    Around that -60 / -65, and alot more stable idle/load, or am I wrong ? :\

    Anyhow, good luck champs

that 3dmark was just a test, just a run, cpu can run 3dmark @ 3.92 my mems do 280 2-2-2-5, graphics need some voltmods and sli cascade is waiting to be tested -100/-100 idle

mr beier, you are wrong cold bug independend of evap temp, ocours on this cpu @ -67 core temps.
On windows, @ 1.85v with 100% cpu load we get -50 cpu die temps, so no problem, only have troubles with cold bug if the cpu go idle, were the temps quick pass -67 and crash

with dry ice we never will get -50 load temps so, cascade is better for this case need a better tune on cpev and better contact next time, -55 load temps is possible i think

No cold bug w/ mem controller? If not some 280x14 will be insane! Any chance of running some Pi with those speeds? Real nice cpu you have. GL

Another bench session - cascade on the 2 GTX 512, but we have to stop it because of the condensation, really bad weather here - storms, rain and a lot of humitdity on the air (around 80%)...

Anyway we managed to get this 1 wit7800GTX 512 770-1950..

Thank you to Raptor and Daniel from Aquapc for the help on the bench session..

We will bench agan when the sunshime cam in

That cpu speed is killer man. DO you have the ihs still on your chip? What kind of evaps temps can your chip handle max? What evap temp does it take to pull 3872mhz?

well, hard nigh bench... i'v some good pics on my camera, i'll upload later, we got to mutch condensation on pci-e slot's and one of the cards arn't good overclocker, anyway we have all the stuff monted on cascades on my garage so later i'll go try some better results.

cpu can andle anything that not passes -67 die core temps, with cascade near -95 on evap 1.83v full loaded always cpu core temps was @ awsome -55 to -58Âșc :o

sli cascade is to mutch good, on end of 3dmark 2005, 2003 etc full load off 2 gtx512 v-modeds, we have -90 on big evap of aoutside card and -85 on small slim evap (i'll make a better evap soon), this with only 3 compressors and comoun hx

i'll try to insulate better pci-e slots
