Nice temps, I get slightly lower idle temps but same load temps with my cooler, using less voltage on the core, and definatly less speed hehe.Originally Posted by eva2000

Yeah fan on 100% speed keeps GPU pretty cool i'd say
I have my 11k #4 rank on ORB now
3Dmark05
@749/900 = 11,007
GPU: 1.45v
VDD: 2.171v
VDDQ: 2.165v
Had to squeeze out 900mhz on mem for that bit extra, plus tightened mem timings a tad

Very nice EVA. I might put some more volts in it, temps are 65C max, really 2600mhz is limiting me, and my memory.

thanks this card is very nice 68-69C load so far with fan on 100% speed (although whiny loud heh )
Interesting future for video encoding with ATI Avivo Xcode http://www.chip.de/artikel/c1_artike...d1=9227&tid2=0
CHIP Online had the opportunity to test a beta version of ATI’s still secret „Avivo XCode“ encoding tool. It uses the power of the GPU to reduce video encoding time –into virtually any format – drastically. Our results show: The new ATI solution easily does it 5 times faster than even the fastest CPUs available today!
Traditional video encoding tools rely solely on the PC’s main processor for the extensive calculations necessary when en- and decoding video sequences. The secret ATI Avivo XCode tool, however, additionally employs the power of ATI’s X1000 series’ architecture. We assume that the XCode tool mainly utilizes the programmable pixel shader units for it’s number-crunching.
Only new ATI graphics cards need apply
There’s a hook however: Avivo XCode only runs on PCs with ATIs Radeon X1000 series VGA cards; i.e. X1300, X1600, X1800 in their respective Pro or XT versions, as well as their All-in-Wonder version.
Our tests indicate that even the cheapest model, a Radeon X1300 available for around 90 Euros in Europe, can achieve dramatic speed increases at crunching down videos.

Managed 01/03 and 05 runs at 729/865, with 100% fan speed, 65C max temps, with 1.365Vcore and upped memory a tiny tiny bit. Dunno what the max will be, can't really be arsed to bench more, hehe, fan is to loud, wanna find me max gaming clocks at around 35% fan speed.

yea the fan is mega loud, my gosh. With fan at only 35% which isn't too loud I hit like 80c steady while playing fear, that is quite high no? I looped 3dmark01 for 45 mins and the core got into the 90's! Do you think I damaged my card running it that hot for that period of time or what is max? Fan at 100% is not an option it whines way too much.

pretty nice for single card but definitely lower than what 512MB 7800GTX can do for 3d2k3 especially with dual core cpus and dual core optimised drivers. Although WarCat 5.11b drivers seem to give 1,000+ pts more than Cat 5.11

Now 7800GTX 512Mb is in its own league, we all knew that (in both performance as well as price) Especially now that X1800XT's can be found for around $550 and lower while the 7800GTX 512 cruise at those unbelievable $700+ heights
Nice scores eva. Btw, what is your ambient for the X1800XT air benching there? Lower or higher than 30C?
away & gone
Ok I ran 3DMark05 with the core at 750 just fine no problems.
Ok now I know atleast the core can do it...not to start appling some Mem Clocks as well.

Weird 3DMark05 is stable but 3DMark01 isn't...I figured this would be the other way around...
eva2000 I am going to take your score out man! At only 2.75GHz too! You watch me! LoL I have finally got this card cranking!
Upping it to 750/900 gave me 10,585 in 3DMark05.
During all of it my GPU only hit 60.9C on full load temp at 750. I am starting to get Artifacts on the core clocks now. I am going to call it a night. Later guys.
Ah some friendly competition

Got me X1800XT up and running but scores seem a bit of....
Opteron @ 3500 + 750/900 = 11.081 3D05
Opteron @ 3500 + 750/900 = 114.952 Aqua03
3D05 already is a bit low for the clocks i think but the real problem is Nature:
Operon @ 3500 + 750/900 gives me this (used Eva's 40k run as compare link, same clocks on gpu)
Reformatted, reinstalled drivers etc etc. Although i didnt have any artifacts first thing tonight will be cutting back on mem a little, see if 850 makes a difference. Any other thoughts?

Nice card Eva, crazy voltages your pushing there Btw do you really have to publish every score you have
only publish them so can folks can compare with my previous results posted in first post at different cpu and card speeds
as to voltages - no one has said what's safe for X1800XT throughout this thread only go by temps heh so is that too high for voltages ??? load temp at 749/900 is 68C

Not bad UGP, got a feeling thats pretty much gonna be your max, and with 400mhz less CPU, you got no chance with EVA
