I need some advice as to how to set it up. I'll be running a 1600+ agioa "9" (locked but should be unlocked by the time I get the board) which did 175fsb on a gigabyte 7vaxp board that isn't known for OC'ing . I will also be recieving 2 256 sticks of OCZ 3500EL ca2 Duel Channel at about the same time. I'm looking to get the highest clock speed, gaming performance, and benchmark scores. This is my first Epox board so I'm kinda new at this and the other board was my first real board that i've overclocked with. I know the board is revision 1.1 and for now I'm using a slk-800 w/speed control fan (upgrading to water in about a month at latest). This processor will be temperary and be passed down to old mobo and be run in another system. I'll probably upgrade to a 2100+ tbred B until the barton with 400fsb comes out (if it does). I think I'd start off with 1 memory stick at Cas 2.5-7-3-3 with a low multiplier and then just see how far it will go ( do all you becnhes) at 2.9DIMM voltage and say a moderate 1.85v vcore. Then use Cas 2 -5-2-2 or whatever and see how far it will go. Then do the same with the other stick of memory on it's own. This will give you a good baseline for each stick and something to compare with when you use two sticks.

After you have tested both sticks then you can start to see how high your cpu will go with higher voltages.

This will take a while and you might be impatient to let her rip, but it will stretch the excitement of discovery period over a while and give you a good feel for your system.

Thanks for the reply. what about the other settings like I've seen you can run the ram at upwards of 100%. How does that work? I haven't seen that before. Like for example i've seen guy's say there running there ram at 176@130% or something like that.

There is no use, to run the ram higher than cpu FSB. U have enough bandwith @ sync speed with twin bank. It's overkill. Maybe it sounds good. CPU @ 200 Ram @ 240. Ur CPU can handle max. 3.2 GB/s while ur ram is theoretical able 2 give around 7.2 GB/s..
I think the board is able to handle 200-220 MHz FSB sync. CPU can handle up to 1*1400 MHz FSB . Don't now what ur ram can do. But raise your AGP if ur screen starts flashing.

My CPU and ram can handle 224 MHz Primestable and SuperPI stable but my screen starts flashing like a resolution change.
@ 220 MHz and 1.7 V AGP voltage if no or just one flash a day!
