    what is the secret... i would LOVE To know where to get the pricing you got on those metals.... i must really be missing something because every block of Cu or Alu i see is like 200 + USDollars. the copper more like 330 USDollars.

    It worked well, got very cold, sadly I dont know how cold, but it sure has one weekness, the metal holddown, it gets totally frosted up within 1 sec :S

    heat exchanger for n2l

    Hey minusgarder. Can you consrtuct this?



    Soldier within a copper tube must go with TIG (perfect for n2l). It is possible to be constructed with a circular saw mounted on metallic bar in the CNC

    Like this, but of only 1 disc

    I think you could make it with steel-band saw. I have made bit similar ln2 container with an angle grinder so i couldnt quite get as dense lamels

    I am constructing one in milling CNC. The schematic is optimized for dry ice.
    The relation between height and thickness is important. Also it is important the thickness of the base and the contact surface.
