Isn't the FX-53 unlocked?
They are both about the same price anyway, so I would go for the FX.

id take the san diego. the 53 is the clawhammer core, so it will go to 2.6 on air, and not much higher.

didnt te latest Clwahammers clock verry well?
I'd go for the opty or the SD. I had an FX-53 and the max it would was 2.6 with an xp-90. Just about any newer core could do that in it's sleep.
A wolf in wolves clothing.
i have a 4000+ and it clocks at 2.7GHz, but it wont budge ne further...Originally Posted by DragonOrta
