Ready to order Ballisitx Z503 edit: what about the gskill?

Couple questions. Should I order the kit with the 2 1gb sticks or should I order the 2 1gb sticks separately on newegg. I think a lot of people order them seperartely and not in a pack so they only have to RMA one stick instead of the whole kit if they ever needed to?

Another thing... I see on the reviews on it at newegg about it dying a lot. Whats with that?

    Thanks!

Edit: That Patriot ram also seems to be doing good (the ones that do 250). Would this be better choice?

I have two sets, one dual channel pack and the other set come individually, they all clock almost identical but I think the dual pack is slightly cheaper so get that instead, if either one of the stick ever go bad I wouldn't want to keep the other stick either so I'd rather RMA the whole set, it appears that either crucial had a bad batch or those people need to learn how to overclock properly, whatever the case is....they came with lifetime warranty from Crucial, if you don't feel like sending to crucial then ship it back to newegg and they'll replace them as well, I had a 7 months old MSI 6600GT went belly up but newegg replaced it no question asked.

What about the Gskill 2gig kits? Which one of those is best right now. It seems like those are a better deal for the money with the Ballistix not offering a lot more than them. Any opinions?

it depends on what your cpu need, for me....I need somewhere between 280~300htt and the only 2GB kits that can clock that high is the Ballistix, all 4 sticks I got can do 280~285 with 2.7v so they don't need insane amount of vdimm either. The rest of the well known 2GB kits from OCZ, GSKILL and Mushkin max out at around 260~270.
