    GeIL Xtreme ES DDR600 2.5-3-3-5...again

so i got my ES sample. gigi and andreyang had 519 but i got 525. slapped it with my good IMC venice and here are the results. not insanely impressive with the highest overclock but it does show that GeIL is definitely speed binning like crazy for ddr600 with timings of 2.5-3-3-5.

currently the max i have super pi 32m stable is 305mhz 2.5-3-3-5 1t with 2.7v. upping voltage didnt help. still trying to push for highest. i may need another cpu
    i dont have a computer....

Nice sticks. It looks like these sticks are garunteed to do 300 2.5-3-3-5. Try tref 3072, which would be 200mhz 3.9us in A64 tweaker.

i only found 3072 to be good for winnie. i tried babyelf's suggestion of 4708 and it works great. i spent the whole night tweaking these suckers. it may not be the 519 gems, but i got it to 310mhz 2.5-3-3-5 super pi 32m stable. running the test right now and will post ss later.

geil is doing great guaranteeing ddr600 2.5-3-3-5

ahhh ok. and the price difference?

considering most geil one can OC to 2.5-3-3-6 anyway, doesn't it make this a bit invalid, for most of us? They'd have to do some real special binning.

most of the geil one can probably do it, but not ALL. this new line is to guarantee ALL to run 300mhz 2.5-3-3-5.

not sure about price difference. i'll have to find that out.
