    Can't get high read preamble

Can you suggest some settings for me? I have an Opteron and would like to try to get my G.Skill FF's to run a read preamble of 7.5, hopefully at 310MHz. The most I have managed is 6.0; at 6.5 and beyond I can't post. I don't mind loose timings if that's what it takes. Thanks for your help.

that's a characteristic of the bios used... i.e. 623-3 for me and certain memory won't boot higher than 6.5ns for preamble.. flash to 510-2FIX, or 704-2BTA and no probs for me

Thanks eva2000. 704-2BTA took care of it right away.
