Lionbot was the coolest, but the other two Voltrons were cool, too. The three robot Voltron was kind of boring to play with, but he looked pretty sweet once he was all connected.

I kept a miniature version of that sword until I was 14 One of the coolest toys I ever bought. Unfortunately, the series was succeeded by Transformers really fast. Though I might be wrong there and the two could have existed at different times. Dont remember ever talking with a friend on who'd win in an Optimus Prime vs Voltron matchup...

lol this thread takes me back to simpler times

Only in the D2OL section can a thread be derailed without complaint.

If we're talking about the US, the Transformers came onto the scene first. Voltron followed shortly thereafter and then came Robotech. I still have a lot of my toys from when I was a kid in very good condition at my parents' place. I even have the boxes for most of them.

In my opinion, Robotech/Macross pwns all!

Hey, off topic, but on a machine with 1x128mb ram, running bank interleave wont do anything, right. Also, what does tras non ddr-400/ddr400 mean? My choices are: 6t/8t, 7t/10t, 5t/6t, or 8t/12t

Okay. To answer your question, bank interleave on a single 128MB module of RAM does nothing. Unfortunately, I don't have an answer to your other question since I've been out of the OC game for a while now.

Well then its time to get back in. I'll do a few test and see what I can come up with. Thanks for the answer to the bank interleave question.

alrighty, to get this thread back on topic, I tell you now that Voltron was not only an awesome show, but the toys were absolutely the sh*t(taling about the good lion voltron here). However, there may be something that beats out even Voltron on the cool factor....

Thundercats were alright, but it reminds me too much of Perkam's avatar. What about M.A.S.K. (Mobile Armored Strike Kommand) and those little pink rubber wrestling men...M.U.S.C.L.E.s (Most Unusual Scary Creatures Lurking Everywhere).

Robotech/Macross still pwns everything else - past, present, and future.

anyone remember Tranzor Z? that was oldschool from the days were i was like 5 or 6.

and i'll say that Macross is pretty pwnt.. however Voltron was the SH** when it was on cartoon network.. and the Robot Chicken Parody of Voltron was really funny.

Tranzor Z was dope, too. He's better known worldwide as Mazinger Z. And we can't forget about his girlfriend that had boob rocket-firing capabilities...Aphrodite A.
