I found some Corsair ValueRAM with Micron chips

    VS256MB533D2
    lot# 0436056-0

    Chips say:

    4KB41
    D9CHM

According to the Micron identifier the chips are MT47H32M8BP-37E
    Specifications
    Density: 256Mb
    Width: x8
    Configuration: 32 Meg x 8
    Voltage: 1.8V
    Package: FBGA
    Package Type: Lead Free
    Pin Count: 60-ball
    Clock Rate: 267 MHz
    Cycle Time: 3.75ns
    Operating Temp: 0C to +85C
    CAS Latency: 4
    Data Rate: DDR2-533
    Part Status: Production

Ofcourse it has the fat body looks, I'll upload a pic when I get home.

It's just 2x256MB, but for only $30 I couldn't resist to buy them
Anyone knows if this mem will clock ok?

Hey folks.. need a little help. I want to get some 2x512MB FatBody DDR2.. and wanted to know which is the cheapest set I can get? I plan to get several pairs of memories. So I will be able to cherry pick the best.

My goal is 1000+ Mhz.. I know my chances are better with the higher end memory. But it is always fun to search for highly overclockable memory

Just letting everyone know that I just got my Mushkin eXtreme Performance 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM Dual Channel kit System Memory Model #: 991382

and it is NOT fatbody d9 it had a heatspreader on it popped it off and mushkin had sanded off the chip markings and stamped mushkin on it with some cheap ink. Wondering if I should put the heatspreader back on or not??

Thanks for the info. I was about to order them too :P For $155 for 2x1GB Fat Body sounded too good to be true, well.. atleast last that long :P

I'm looking for some affordable Fat Body to play around with.. and they all seem pretty pricey.

Finally got my Corsair XMS2 8000UL sticks today, and I notice that the heatspreader seems to be made of some kind of plastic type substance. Different from the metal HS on 5400UL's. These 8000's are v1.1 and my 5400's are v1.2.

Does anyone else who has these 8000UL's v1.1 have the same type of heat spreader?

    Cheers.

How high can you go with default 2.3v max on P5WD2 ?

2 days ago my crucial ddr533 arrived (non ballistix)...
thats whats written on the chips:

    4JB11
    D9BQM

    the other one is:
    4GB11
    D9BQM

But i dont know if these are fatboy d9 or non-fatboy d9.

    they look exactly like these:
    klick

the maximum oc they could do with 2.0v was around 391mhz 4-4-3-8 ... but maybe they can do even more.

somebody knows more about those chips?
cant test them because im on holiday for the next 6 days.

even if those are not that good its a good buy for 65€ (second hand)
