    I Work With An Idiot...

I work at a Circuit City, in the games dept. (unfortunatly). Whereas this Idiot works in the computer dept. He is totally an AMD fan, and was super excited when we got this crappy HP system in stock that featured a 3800+ X2. He was telling me how much better it is than Intels Dual Cores becuase the X2s are 2 64 Bit Processors, whereas the Intels are 2 32 bit processors. OMFG i thought. Where to start. First of all, Intels Processors now do have 64 Bit support, but worst of all, he said that that gives the AMD 128 bit capabilities >_<. Its good to know my store hires knowledgable people in their computer dept. I also lost a sale of a copy of Windows because he came and butted in and told these people how great Linux is. Ah yes, Linux would be GREAT for these old people that have no idea what theyre doing... Anyway, they got tired of listening to his and left. I hate him... I want him to talk crap one day so i can whoop his dumb, ICP loving, ass!

just put a little squirt of brown paint on the back of his pants next time he comes to work....let him walk around like that all day...

Go to the pay phone near the front door, set up a three way call with a 1800 gay sex chat line and have him paged at least ten times a day so he hears that when he gets on the line.

Leave pens filled with alcohol near his work area so he will pick them and smell like booze all day.

paint the bottom of a box with carpet glue and ask him to hold it for you for a sec

walk up to him in front of his co workers and "break up" with him

Ask him detailed technical questions about RAM in front of customers who are trying to buy a PC

pee on the door handles of his car ... for a month until they start to rot....

There's lots of fun things you can do

lol, UnG thats some wierd evil things to do, yet funny all the same. If you'd rather have him gone.... Have a friend come in that knows alot bout stuff and have them ask noob questions to the guy. And then have the friend/"customer" file a complaint. I did that all the time (minus the complaint) when i went to BestBuy or something just to see the knowlege base of the current employees....

IPC is king. A chip with higher IPC is always better than one with lower IPC, even if it's running at a frequency much lower than the low IPC one. There's a very good chance that it will be consuming alot less power if it is running at a lower frequency.

what i say is true here we educate ppl about thing they might dont know... so they learn and we have a better world... instead of bashing his ignorance why just dont talk to him and say hey what you say is wrong because of this.... or whatever....

I help people learn all the time, but you can't help educate someone who already knows it all.....

If you call him on every mistake he makes and tell him off when he's being a dumbass he'll stop bothering you. It might take a while, but it'll happen.

If that doesn't work, then UnG's got a pretty good list, too.

I would be running at least one of them if I could find a whole rig for under 500$.

It happens to choke on traditional X86 code so I wouldn't be using it for my main rig though.

It is, unfortunatly, an exception to the rule in genral usage though.

    For some general examples

    ARM Vs. MIPS
Dragonball Vs. whatever that other chip was, Zilog maybe
    68000 Vs. X86
    65836 Vs. Z80
