have you done a search for vmodding your m/b? gotta be one around somewhere
You need to find the vdimm mosfet(s) and check if it's powered by 3.3V or 5V. If it's powered by 3.3V, just cut the connection or desolder the mosfet leg that is connected to 3.3V. Then check all parts' specs to see if they all can stand 5V. Then get a big stranded wire (or two) and connect it between 5V and that pin, which was formerly fed by 3.3V. That's it. You'll perhaps need some extra cooling. The mod often isn't very simple, so you should know what you're doing, when doing it.

If you are still interested, let me know. I got the A8N SLI Deluxe in the meantime and the layout is nearly identical so the mod should be the same. Like I said, if you want to try it, I can give you all the info you need.
