DI Tubes and support rods for the U.K.

Hi. I`m thinking of giving DICE a try and a need copper/alu tube, support to stop it falling over and..err....a lot of neoprene (I got dielec)

Can anyone point me in the direction of places to get this gear in the U.K. and point out anything that i`ve missed.

DICE and methanol carrier I can get from my uni

    Thanks a lot

My advice is if you dont know where to start looking for basic materials such as copper tube, then you shouldn't be messing with such equipment.

Well there isnt much of a DICE/LN scene in the U.K. so finding stuff aint that easy. IMO, Id be better buying something made for the job that having stuff custom-made for me, which will cost more, and I dont really know about the design.

So you are saying that finding 2" copper tube and 1/2" thick copper plate is hard in the UK?

In itself, no. Connecting the 2 is a bit harder.

    Yes,
I'm french, in france, it's difficult to find 2"copper tube and 1/2" thick copper plate.
You could have them if you paid some €€€ .
I'm using oxy/ac to brase copper, it wonderfull to use !

I dont have the gear, or the skills.

I`m obviously not happy about it, but knowing theres other ppl who dont have the facilities to do this easily makes me feel slightly better.

Phase-change is no better in the U.K... theres only one official place that`ll do it for our wee compressors and only a couple other folk who are willing. None of my local HVAC businesses will do it.
