It looks like the G.Skill FF and the Geil One are the top 2x512 TCCD sticks right now. Can anyone recommend one over the other? It seems like some people have had bad luck with the Geils?
Thanks.

Of course G.Skill FF 3of5 sticks does stable DDR600 2.5-3-3-x, but only good Geil ONE are these, who haves earlier TCCD versions, or these who are made for Geil fan club.
My opinion G.Skill.
I have the single-sided Geil One 2x 256 MB. I didn't push it very far yet but I certainly don't have any problems. With the 2x 256 MB kits the Geil One is much cheaper than the G.Skill, the 2x 512 MB kits are not that far apart.
Thanks for the input. I'll go with the G.Skill.

2x256mb normally scale much better than 2x512mb i'll get the FF
I'd say go with G.Skill, I have had no luck with Geil memory

I tried 300 MHz 3-4-4-8 on my Geil One TCCD 2x 256 MB. Works very much fine. 2.8 Volt.
300 MHz 3-3-3-8 failed at the same volts after about an hour.
G.Skill FF is a nice product, but from my experience there probability of reaching DDR600, 2.5-3-3-6 is not as good as it's been known. Recently I've tested 10 sets of FF(all new versions with the heat spreaders on), but only one set was able to reach DDR600 2.5-3-3-6 at 2.7V. Think either the batches have gone a little bad(maybe along with the price drop?), or I've been extremely unlucky.Originally Posted by Kasparz
