I swear every picture I see of Macci I think it's Eminem, even after the bunch I've seen, even when I expect it to be Macci, I think it's Eminem.

Anyway, I really can't wait for all this info to get released, but some should be obvious already. 1) At stock it beats the GTX in 05 and I'd bet my GTX that it would in 01 as well 2) It ain't got no cold bug (some one confirmed it above but shouldn't the massive amount of LN2 give it away?). 3) ATi knows they're late to the party and are bringing their A-game...and Macci's and Sampsa's A-game

I'm about 90% sure now that my GTX is on the selling block in the coming weeks.

ATi definatly appears to have gotten the yeild issue under control if those clocks are true I hope it holds true for the entire series as I might get an X1800PRO if the core speed is like the XT.

Very impressive to say the least. I look foreward to what this and other card(s) are capable of.

After all the BS this is looking very good for ATI and worth the wait. That memory overclock is just nuts, and the LN2....well nuff said

Thanks very much for sharing this Gorillakos

Only thing I wish ATI would have done is put all the memory chips on the backside of the card

Wow, when I posted my first post I didn't even realize there was a second page...LOL.

Anyway, my guess for the score is dependant on the CPU speed, mate....can you give us info on that?

    My guess: 13371

Hmmm, didn't see that it was sub-13200, must be VERY CPU limited (as expected), so I'll change my guess (although having 1337 in the score would be 1337, I guess it won't happen ).

    New Guess: 12371

GoriLLakoS what cooling was this overclock done on? Air? Stock? Water? Phase? LN2? Which. It makes a significant difference to all of us here.

If those numbers were on LN2 the PRO I am eyeing is alot less attractive than if this was done on air.

What kind of cooling was used for these clockspeeds?

I see a big jug of LN2 in a picture on the first page.... if these results are with LN2 (if these cores can even TAKE LN2) then I'm thinking the same things Sent is thinking...

hmm, 856 has been done before(Macci hit 904 on an 850 XTPE), but 1880 on mem is SICK.

    My guesses:
    stock @ 9465
    OC'ed @ 12848
DFI UT X58-T3eH8 (being replaced with Giga UD5)
    Core i7 920 D0 mostly stable @ 4Ghz
    TRUE 120
6GB OCZ Platinum 7-7-7 (still in testing
    XFX 4890 1GB @ 1050/1190
    Corsair HX850W
    CM Cosmos S

    Still testing...

lol, enticing offer. Now, by "X800XL" do you mean "my X1800XT after I buy one" and by "600 bucks" do you mean "$50"? If so then we have a deal.

Anyhoo, can't wait for tuesday/wednesday)whenever scores are officially released).

It looks like ATi handled their situation well (nV did surprise just about everyone with the 7800GTX en masse the day of release!)....now we just have to wait for when we can buy these....congrats if you guys pull it off, I certainly doubted you.

Here's hoping the non-cherries clock anywhere near as good.
Yes memory on top side would have been nice, but would have made the stock cooling infinitely more difficult.

The X850XT core was good, I hear Greyskull got some off the line cards for macci when he was at the Castle and it helluva core speed.

I just hope they can compete price-wise too seeing as how they're looking to compete very well performance wise.

heh, I'm very well aware it was with the R480 core that Macci hit 904 with(its in my post) and the new core will certainly be faster/more powerful at the same speed. I was just hoping to see some unreal core clock on the new core. Obviously ~856 is already a huge OC, I was just dreaming of seeing an R520 at 1Ghz. But hey, theres plenty of time for that to happen.
