If you check the points where the power connector should be and you get 5/12v at the pins, it should be ok to just solder on a connector, but its (very) likely that there will be other components missing on the card, so it won't be as easy as just adding the connector to the card.Originally Posted by Barr3l Rid3r

Thats why I sold mine for an x800pro! I keep seeing that, for whatever reason the x800xl's even on high voltages refuse to clock.
