Asus Bios Flash
How do you flash Asus bios? I tried the alt f2 thing but nothing comes up, I tried DOS and it says something like"Cant find BIOS hook" or something like that. HELP ME

tried aflash? or if you are using winxp you can just use the asus update proggy. it has work flawlessly

When i do the update prog it encounters an error and closes.

Why not just dig out an old Win9x boot floppy, and copy the AWDFLASH.EXE (NOT AFLASH) and 1001E.BIN to the root C:\ Then after booting off the floppy like it says on page 42 of the A7N8X manual, at C:\ type AWDFLASH /qi 1001e.bin and press ENTER save old bios and confirm flashing.
Personally, I love the Winblows based Flash program....just make sure you are hooked up to a UPS in case you have a power outage during it.
