Ultra Connect 500w PSU and Zippy 600W PSU mod "idea"

    here's what I want to do ...

    1. Buy Ultra XConnect 500w PSU (the modular kind)
    2. Buy ZIPPY 600w PSU
    3. switch the PSU cases (and modularize the ZIPPY)
    4. ???
    5. PROFIT!!!

    Problems:
    1. The 600W ZIPPY doesn't have an on/off switch (designed for workstation), is it safe to use the switch from the Ultra PSU? (I assume so since the switch can prolly handle the load on the contacts)
    2. Does anyone have any inside picks of the ULTRA PSU? (I want to see how the cables are connected internally to the plugs)

another thing that I am worried about is that the circuitry on the ultra only has 1 12v line ... not 2, like the zippy.

Why would you want to switch PSU cases? Does the ultra connect case have something special?

well, would you like the "stock beige" look through your window or a nice "shiny tinatiun" one?

Also, I like the ultra's modular cables ^^.

I am kinda pissed off that you can't buy a PSU case and PSU internals separately ... maybe there's a niche market ...
