    Question Question about Sata Controller Add on Card

    OK guys , i have an old main , Asrock K7S41GX SiS741GX and no Sata ports

    If i buy an add on Sata controller Card , can i boot buy my Sata HDD ?

    Yes... you can get a Sil based SATA card dirt cheap and it's bootable...

    I should add that when you drop an add in card into a PCI slot, you need to select SCSI in BIOS as the first boot device... almost forgot about that
