caa2c with AQUACOMPUTER CUPLEX XT A64-need help

    hi
    i bought

    AQUACOMPUTER CUPLEX XT A64
    EINHEIN 1046
    NEXXXOS 360 WITH 3 FANS 58 CFM
    AQUACOMPUTER AQUAINJECT

i have been running this for 3 weeks now
i replaced thermal paste 3 times already
i checked and rechecked over and over
i am with room temp at +- 25ºC
even with 1,44v the caa2c is folding at 47ºC/49ºC
if i hit the sucka with 1,6 v...enough to get me stable at 2850mhz it will rise to 65ºc

is this block really worth the big pile of cash that i payed for it

    i could use help here

    thnxs

the block performce well even though there better blocks (*heatkiller 2.5, nexxxos xp 2.0, zern pq plus*) which are cheaper. but the block is not realy much inforior then the german top blocks. in your maze there is mayby the problem that the pump is not the best, but i actually would say: NEVER BELIEVE MOTHERBORDSENSORS.

to lap the block normaly shouldn't bring somethink as long, it isn'T used much. it sound know more like you installed wrong the cooler.

so pump is enough to cool the setup.

well you have HORRIBLY matched components.

I suggest you read my watercooling guide to gain some insight into how watercooling actually works and so you do not make the same mistake twice.

the waterblocks you chose arnt exactly the best, but they will work, but not very well when coupled with such an underpowered pump as the 1046. A more well suited pump would be the DDC as it is 3/8" and is high head pressure which works well with the ultra high restriciton blocks that you chose.

I would say to open the block up and check for clogging.

have you checked whether or not you actually have water flowing? seriously, I think it's a possibility that you managed to require enough pumping pressure with that loop that you dead-headed your pump. just a thought.

    hey
    and thnxs 4 the replys
yes i have water flowing...i can see it like a wave on the res....up and down
i asked for a professional opinion ......in 1 of the 4 shops of WC that i have im my country
i spend 1,5 h choosing with the help of the guy at the shop,i asked several times if the pump will be enough and if the sistem would "hold" a caa2c....
    answer.....YES
i spent about 225 € on this WC
i didnt spend more cause i was told that was not necessary....
today the A/C broke down on me and the room temp went up to 31ºC
the cpu is at 1,47 and folding at 48/52ºC
    i bought a 2nd hand block to test...arrives next week(IA-2)... a less restrictive one
is this gonna make a diference?
or should i buy a pump and keep the block?

    thnxs

    [edit]

if your reaching more than 60* then there is something more wrong than just the flowrate.

Most likely is a bad mount on the CPU. Or very poor radiator performance.

That CPU block is a decent block and should work well.

Can you check the watertemperature somehow... a glass thermomiter in the res will work if you have nothing else.

Water should be within 5*c of ambient, if its more than that then your rad/fans are not working right.

But the first step should be remounting the waterblock... make sure that your hozes are not pulling the block off the core and that there is not much tension on them.

From rereading your post im betting that your water temp is very high

Im 99% sure this isnt caused by the pump.. the 1048 is hardly a monster but it will work with your comonents.

i bought a aquarium thermometer and the water temp was...28ºc...
the screws that hold the block are at the max load they can handle...really tight
i used ceramique to avoid mistakes....
is this only from the caa2c....is it this hot.....
    at 1,6 vcore i can 2850 mhz stable....no problem..just the 65ºc that i see gives me a headache
i was able to hold it with a TT silent boost with a 92 mm tornado at 1,57 v 65/67ºc

i mounted and desmounted the block 4 times already.....i invited a friend to help me the last time...
btw if i turn off the folding i get like 36/38ºc iddle temp...i guess its normal

    ....
    out of ideas here

clogging = any garbage/carp/junk/lint/dirt in the waterblock.
