Silent Mod for Pioneer DVD 105S

Hi out there ...

I have got a 16x Pioneer DVD Rom wich is really to loud while DVD playback.
There is NO WAY to slow it down with any kind of software
But maybe there is a way to hardware mod this thing?
Anyone has got an idea?

Make the speakers louder. LOL. Maybe the drive is vibrating too much, creating alot of noise?

Nope! It just speeds up to 16x all the time. And there ist no Software "Mod" to slow it down.

Maybe a firmware flash of some sort??

Nero Drivespeed should can control maximum rotation speed for some drives.

Yes Nero drive speed works really well.

I will look after some firmware updates when im off.

You really KNOW that nero drive speed works with this DVD Rom, or u just "think" it should work? Btw I got an 106S too, wich hast got a build in silent mode
