    Some Dothan questions...

Hey, it's my first post in the Intel section!
Anyway, I have some questions about Intel's Dothan chips:

    1. Is the Dothan the best for pure gaming?
    2. What is the "latest" (best performing) Dothan model?
    3. What are they priced at?
    4. What socket type are they?
    Thanks a lot!

they are the best for gaming.. you will need to either buy one of the few socket 479 boards available or buy an asus ct-479 adaptor and a compatible asus board

the best model is the 780.. which is pricey, but you can get the mid range models for $300-500 which should still clock pretty well

downsides to dothan: no crossfire or sli support.. only one board that supports pci-express if you can find it
