They are somewhat the same, the tygon is somewhat more flexible, if you plan on going negative temps like me, the tygon is ment for -44f and will remain flexible till those temps, i've owned the clearflex and what i found was it clouded up VERY fast when i ran loops or water+hydrx, like the walls turned a white color.

as eboy said, clearflex is a bit less flexible. it also has a blue tinge to it.

other than that, there isnt any functional difference.

    I've got a semi-related question.
How problematic would it be to stretch 7/16"ID tubing over 5/8"OD barbs? Getting it both on and off...my T-Line was gonna be 5/8ths, but that was before I decided on 7/16"ID tubing.

It's gonna be very hard. I wouldn't bother, as having a 5/8" T line is about as beneficial in a 1/2" ID setup as is having a 1/2" T line in a 7/16" ID loop. Same resistance factor.

I use Primoflex personally, and it rocks. Just as flexible as Tygon, if not more so, and cheap too. .99 cents/foot at Voyeurmods.com.
