    Sempron 2600+ 64BIT

    i have sempron 64bit....
    n...well i try...
    this my test

    Default 200 X 8

    then....

    299 X 8

    n the last

    310 X 8

    i can only see the last pic, and it says it is Thourghbred Socket A ..
    EDIT: now i can't see any pic

    Must be a bug in cpuz If you look at the instruction set you can see sse2,sse3 and 64bit instructions. Anyway endo what vcore was that at.
    Does anyone know where i can get bananas like this the only ones I can get don't dance and go black after a few weeks

    No, there was a different picture with CBID and SuperPI ... which showed Socket A ...

    now there are links for validation... not pics

    my DFI LPUT w/ sempron 64 2800+ couldn't detect the proc's name
    there's no update BIOS from DFI

    The 623 Bios should support the Sempron. Already tried that?

    Since Semp 2600 is S754 CPU, on what S754 mobo did you manage to get HTT as high as 310 MHz???

    On the DFI LP UT NF3 250GB a HTT clock of 350MHz (and more) shouldn't be a big problem. You only have to watch the LDT multi. Mine for example only does high HTT with a LDT multi of 1.5, 2.5, 3. Any other multi makes the boards crap out at about 260MHz HTT.

    i think he's running dfi nf3.

    but my abit nf8 also does 320mhz htt easy. i even think it could do more, i never really tried. however, i think i will once i get e6 sempron.

    Endo, did you need a BIOS update to recognize the 64bit sempron? Which BIOS are you using?

    Endo have you tried giving it some more volts as im curious to see what the max is.

    1.6ghz semprons are locked. 1.8ghz and higher support c&q so they're unlocked.
